Getting to Knoydart for your walking holiday
Part of the pleasure of Knoydart is the journey to get there. The spectacular “Road to the Isles” from Fort William to Mallaig passing Glens, lochs and mountains. The road winds through majestic scenery and past the famous Glenfinnan memorial to Bonnie Prince Charlie at Loch Shiel and also the Glenfinnan Viaduct featured in the Harry Potter films.

The Old Byre Lodge is located on Inverie, 10 minutes' walk from the pier and we can pick up your heavy bags on your 3pm boat arrival so that you can enjoy your first walk through Knoydart.
